Stage Bound

Sebastian is fascinated by the forms of theatre that explore the connection between audience and performer. This exists in improv comedy, the form where Sebastian began his career. Classical Theatre, which he studied with the world renowned Shakespeare and Co. And new experimental and devised work which he creates with his peers at Emerson College.

From ‘Bad Guys’ to boys next door each character is distinctly human. No matter how we may judge them they contain a bit of the same thing that makes us go. Finding that connection is what Sebastian absolutely loves about this craft.

But these moments of connection exist in all of theatre, from touring elementary schools and interacting with kids, to hearing the laughter that’s caused by an audience suggestion. We are always connecting with each other. Sebastian believes theatre gives us a medium to explore the real connection and raw emotion that often stays within.
